The informational-co-ordinative Centre for co-operation with OECD (OECD – HSE Partnership Centre) was established in the State University - Higher School of Economics (SU-HSE) in March 2004 for broadening OECD – Russia co-operation in the fields of education, science and new informational technologies.

Since October 2005 the OECD – HSE Partnership Centre is a structural division of the International Organisations Research Institute (IORI) of the StateUniversity – Higher School of Economics.

The OECD-HSE Partnership Centre is aimed to assist the critical drawing on foreign experience in management and development of education and science as well as the impartial representation and vision of Russia in international educational space by means of information exchange and broadening participation of Russian experts in OECD projects through analytical and organizational support provision.

To achieve its aims and mission the OECD – HSE Partnership Centre implements activities in two main directions:

• Information and analysis
• Science and co-ordination

Informational and analytical direction comprises following activities:

• Publishing the quarterly «International Organisations Research Journal».
• Regular update of news and information on OECD activities, announcement of forthcoming meetings and results of joint OECD-HSE projects on the OECD – HSE Partnership Centre web page.
• Translation and dissemination the OECD analytical papers and reports, scientific publications, statistical and background materials most important for Russia.
• Brief reports preparation on OECD research projects and meetings for national media.
• Informational and analytical support provision for national authorities including the RF Ministry of Education and Science, the RF Ministry for Economic Development and others as well as for the SU-HSE partner organizations in the field of co-operation with an OECD.

Scientific and co-ordinative direction comprises following activities:

• Participation in scientific and analytical research projects launched by the SU-HSE under the aegis of OECD focused on international comparative analysis in the field of education, scientific-technological and economical development.
• Coordination оf the SU-HSE and other partner organisations experts’ participation in projects launched under the aegis of OECD.
• Initiating public expertise to assess and discuss findings from the joint OECD-HSE research projects during conferences and seminars, e-forums and other forms of public discussions.
• Provision of organizational support to Russian officials and experts participating in OECD meetings, projects and other corresponding arrangements.
